About

The Dacha Loft is the private events space of Dacha Beer Garden. Located adjacent to and above the garden, the venue is a unique and magical backdrop. Tucked in the thriving Shaw neighborhood in northwest D.C., the Loft is easy to get to, but feels far away, like your own private enclave of enlightened elegance.

 In the fall of 2016, we inaugurated the Dacha Loft with a Supper Club dinner series and events with what we call our “Dacha Regulars.” Over the years, we’ve grown what began as an idea, into a reality. The Loft has become a thriving events venue that hosts a variety of events such as rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions, bridal showers, all-hands team meetings and corporate retreats, video shoots, birthday parties, baby showers, yoga workshops and more.

Our Menus

From a four course meal, passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations, or brunch bites, we love crafting the best menu for your event. Our team values local and fresh ingredients to delight and enrich your palate.

Personal Catering Consultation: Our team will advise you through the process of selecting the best menu at your price point. Whether its a combination of passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations, or a brunch party, we can create a variety of foodie experiences.

Interested in vegetarian, Vegan or Gluten-Free options?  We are happy to customize menus to your specific dietary needs.

Top-Notch Service: Professional and highly trained staff deliver quality service. For every event, our manager is on-site to oversee the details so you don’t have to!

The Layout

Flooded with natural light, the Loft is 600 square feet of exposed red brick, hardwood floors, adjustable ambient lighting and all rentals on-site. Our Events Manager works closely with clients to create the best room set up for your event.

• Furniture to sit up to 40 guests
• Elegant tableware and glassware
• Votive candles, flower vases and chalkboard signs
• Bose Speaker System with easy connection
• WiFi, projector, screen and HDMI Cable

Art Gallery

At Dacha we value the arts and our local community of artists and markets. Given that the Loft is a perfect canvas to display and showcase artwork, it was a natural decision to utilize the space as an art gallery to showcase local artists.

The gallery is curated by local art mover and shaker Nina Caccioppoli O’Neil of Monochrome Collective. Past exhibitions include Framing Feminism, a series of work by four local female artists as part of the Femme Force One events series and Illustrated in Ink, a series of pen and ink drawings by five local artists.

This fall we’re launching Instant Gratification, an exhibition that will examines the the art and fascination with polaroid film. Submit YOUR polaroid to be featured in the exhibition!

Femme Force One

The mission of Femme Force One is twofold. One, to curate events that engage, showcase and inspire our community of boss ladies. Secondly, to connect emerging and established women from a variety of backgrounds in the district.

We hope guests leave with a nugget of knowledge to nurture that itch, quell that question, and help you plant those seeds of confidence and water them!

Past events include How to Be a Boss Lady 101, Framing Feminism Opening Reception and Artist Talk, and an Alice in Wonderland pop up fundraiser, Women in Wonderland.
